About our Club
The Probus Club of Wahroonga East was established with the specific purpose of providing people with professional, business and executive backgrounds, and others who have had some measure of responsibility or achievement in any field of worthy endeavour and who appreciate and value increased social contact and reside in the area, with the opportunity to meet regularly in an environment that helps to keep our minds active, expand our interests and enjoy the fellowship of new friends.

While established as a Men’s Club, our success to a great extent has been the result of a decision taken to invite our wives and partners to attend all meetings and participate in the many social outings and activities that the Club conducts throughout the year.

The Club membership is currently about 100 members. Meetings are held on the fourth Monday of each month from February to November at The St Ives Club, 100 Killeaton Street St Ives. These meetings which commence at 9.45 am and go through to lunch time are attended by around 80 members, associates and guests, with many staying to socialise over a delicious lunch. Guest speakers are chosen from a wide range of interests to provide a stimulating forum for advancing our knowledge and interests.
